Questions.
Is this karate scoreboard free?
Yes. Dojos can use it for gradings, training or club events free of charge, and no login is needed. Everything stays on your device.
What are yuko, waza-ari and ippon worth?
On this board yuko is 1 point, waza-ari is 2 and ippon is 3, which follows common kumite scoring.
How do penalties work on the board?
Turn on Penalties in Settings for a count under each competitor. The fifth one loses the bout, and the board marks the winner.
What happens in a tie?
The competitor with senshu wins. Without senshu, the board says it is a tie and the referees decide.
Can I put the kumite score on a TV?
Yes. With the TV set up as a second display, press Second screen and move the window to it. Click it to fill the screen. Everyone can read the score and the time left.
